Speaking of Bamboo? Back in PI, my mom has a land property located in the hinterland. Part of the land is on uphill so; my grandparents planted bamboo. It's just sitting there and my uncle used some of it for the fence. He harvested some and sell them too. But, it's really affordable in the PI. Here in the US, you need to pre-order a bamboo products because it's rare. You can't just go to the store and buy it right away.
Anyway, I have seen backyards with bamboo fences and they are really nice. It brings back memory of my childhood. I also saw backyards with bamboo plants used for division and it was nice for privacy purposes. We are still renovating the kitchen and did some fixes inside the house. When we moved in for good. We are planning to landscape the backyard and of course, bamboo plant will be one of the plants we will be ordering.
