African Grey as a Pet

Oh my goodness, I started checking for the prices on African Grey and they vary according to where they came from. The Cameroon is the most expensive at $950 down to Red Bellie at $350. Dang! African Grey is expensive.
African Greys are not only the best of talking birds but also very highly intelligent.  Their ability is to mimic the human voice as well as the sounds in their environment. Though African Grey is expensive as a pet, it is well worth it knowing that their longevity is about 50 to 60 years  according to the World Parrot Trust.

African Grey parrots are excellent pets because they are intelligent. They require time and commitment by their owners to provide interaction and constant attention. As you can see in the photo above, the bird has toys so he won't get bored.

If you can afford it, get yourself an African Grey parrot and make sure you have the time to teach him the cool tricks and vocabulary.

The Busy Buzzing Bee

It was raining earlier today. I had my coffee and doughnut at the gazebo. Listening to the chirping of the birds is what I like to do in the morning. When I am lounging at the backyard, I always have my iPad and my handy Samsung camera with me if in case there are interesting subjects to capture. Just like this one, an early morning worker!
photo wildflowers5_zpse732ba39.jpgSuch a beautiful thing. From the hustle and bustle of life, we need to stop a bit and see the beauty around us. Today, try something different like going to the beach and walk barefoot on the sand. Enjoy the wind brushes your hair or just take an afternoon snack with your family at the back porch. Enjoy the essence of life and shrugged that worries for few hours. Have a nice Monday everyone.

Turtle on the Road

This is not the first time that I saw turtles on the road in our neighborhood or in Florida for that matter. Motorists usually stopped and let this precious creature pass by. Even when we were in Mississippi, one time a motorist stop on the side of the busy road while others tried to help the traffic and pick up a huge turtle on the road. It stopped in the middle of the road and hid on its shell probably nervous LOL. Good thing it happened on a country road where everyone is not really in a hurry. I just admire people who have the compassion to animals like this one. CUTE!

As you can see, this turtle is not walking slow LOL. He runs!~ See the glide? That's a huge step hahaha. It took me 3 shots only and he is off to the other side of the road. That was really quick! Now, who says turtles are slow LOL ?

Beyond the fence is the Space Coast Regional Airport ... hmmm ... I wonder if he has a flight to catch? LOL

Few cars pass this area that is why; I got the chance to take these photos. In fact, there were only us and one car which was ahead of us. It is exciting to see animals on the wild.  Thanks for stopping by.

Colorful Snake

I really need "Billy the Exterminator" right now! I googled and look at some pictures on the net and similarly, this creepy creature looks like a "long-nosed snake" which is non-venomous. That is good news but, I really don't know if this is it. It is very slender, colorful and it crawl in between the gap on the cement down the hallway of our condo. I left the snake hanging on the branch of the bushes. If this is one of the characteristics of this snake then, this is a corn snake and it is not venomous in fact, people tend to keep it as pets. They eat in rodents and small lizards. I just don't like snakes no matter what. Period! Chilly ghostbumped!

Disney World: The Animal Kingdom

As a child, I was curious of Disney World. I was born on the same year that Disney World opened for business in Orlando, Florida. Never in my wildest dream that I will have this chance, simply a dream come true for me.
All of these pictures were taken in Animal Kingdom, one of the famous theme parks of Disney World.
I love all the attractions here especially the TREE OF LIFE where it house the BUGS LIFE show. Do you want to see FLICK? This is the place to visit and I'm sure your kids will love it!
You can see wild animals kept in their own comfortable place. You should try to see the Kilimanjaro, Nemo and Lion King attractions.

The best time to visit Florida is summer though it's truly hot. If you love the sunshine, that's the best time to roam around Disney. And also, make sure your hotel is around the Disney area so it's easy to go to your hotel if you need a rest. Check it out soon okay? See you in the Sunshine State! Mao nia akong entri karong semanaha. HULAGWAY SA SULOD SA ANIMAL KINGDOM. Salamat sa bisita ha.
