Paranormal TV Show: The Haunting Of

Do you like paranormal TV show? I am scared but, I like to watch anything that is paranormal. The Haunting Of is a documentary TV series on The Biography Channel that I watched for quiet sometime now. This TV show is hosted by Kim Russo, a psychic medium and each episodes/series tells the stories of different celebrities who agreed to tell their paranormal experiences. It is very interesting because it is a "spinoff of Celebrity Ghost Stories" .... for real. If you are a skeptic, it doesn't hurt to watch it don't you think?

It is a fascinating show and I like the host. You should check it out!

The Bible on History Channel

My husband has an amazing mind with regards to remembering history and facts. When we watch the Jeopardy, a quiz show here in the US, hubby can answer 80% + of the questions. He is up to date with politics, current events and the trendy Big TV Shows such The Bible and Vikings on History Channel, he knows it first hand. The Bible is an Epic series on History Channel aired on primetime and produced by Roma Downey and Mark Burnett ( see 2nd photo below).

The mini series runs for 10 hours and shown in five installments. It started March 3 and will conclude on Easter Sunday. Each episode runs for 2 hours and we have been watching it since. At first, I thought no one would patronize it especially that it talks about Christianity. Lo and behold, it is trending in Twitter, most talked-about in Facebook and according to the news, The Bible had 13.1 million viewers on its first episode and by far, the largest audience on cable TV this year. 

I am very happy that The Bible has a positive feedback not only from the religious community but including those who are not Christians. I read the twitter feedback and was truly amazed that most of the tweets are positive. There were blasphemers and some controversies especially when they showed the EVIL who look like the US President. My Destiny by Katharine Mcphee

Did you watch the second season of SMASH this week? If you missed it, you should mark your calendar for next week's episode and .... onward because this show is thrilling and full of superb talents in acting and the music is jaw-dropping (wink). Katharine Mcphee is one of my favorite lead characters in SMASH. I remember her as a contestant in 2006 of the Fox reality show American Idol. She was my favorite but became the runner up while Taylor Hicks was named American Idol in season 5. Anyway, here’s one of her beautiful songs that I love to listen.

Jessica Sanchez Almost Did Not Make It

Jaw-dropping result right? Have you watch the American Idol last night? "Jessica Sanchez is one of the best singers in America ever" said Randy Jackson.



This is an awakening moment for us all. This is NOT about the "race". But being a Filipino, we should show our support by casting our votes for Jessica Sanchez every week. Votes matter a lot in a competition like this. If we want her to be the next American Idol, do your part. Judges can't save her all the time. We know that Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler believed in her but, it's not enough. Votes count a lot! So, let us all do our part. Good luck to Jessica Sanchez. No matter what happens, win or lose, you will go a long way girl!

Amazing Race: Brendon and Rachel

I am currently watching the amazing race and, Brendon and Rachel team caught my attention. Rachel is a crying babe and good thing, Brendon is a patient guy. If she doesn't change her attitude being a quitter and whiner, they will be the next team to go! Stop whining and sniveling!If that is the attitude, it would surely clash and they plan to get married? Rachel must have thought that Amazing Race is like the Big Brother show. Poor thing, 98% of the Amazing Race viewers hated her! See the reactions in facebook. Change your attitude Rachel!

Ashley Robles Rocks in the American Idol Audition at Sunny California

The thread in you-tube confirmed that she is indeed a Fil-Am. I visited her Website but, I only saw her gigs and some events. Anyway, this is exciting because I have something to look forward to in every episodes. I know she will make it for the Finals! Ashley Robles is 26 years old, producer, song-writer, re-mixer, a DJ and a single mom with a cute 5 year old daughter. Amaya: The Finale

This week is the finale week for AMAYA. I wanted to know the latest news in the Philippines so; I subscribed GMA Pinoy TV and I have it for few months now. Compared to the other network, I like what I have in this channel because the programs are balanced. Back in the Philippines, I don't watch "tele-serye" programs. When I subscribed the GMA Pinoy Channel, I saw my husband hooked on watching "Sinner or Saints". I was amazed how he able to understand the story since it was in "Tagalog". Then, came AMAYA. I like it because it is a period drama, unique and interesting. Amaya is classified as Philippine historical fiction and Marian Rivera is the main character. I salute the director Mike Alejandre. The concept of Amaya story is set on the time period prior to the Spanish occupation in the Philippines. I am excited to know the ending of Amaya. I wonder what will happen to "Lamitan" and if "Amaya" will be killed.

Favorite Cast of Amazing Race

Bill and Cathi lived in Oregon and both are Educators by profession. At present they own a ranch and they are farmers. Though they are the oldest casts in Amazing Race, they compete well and they always finish in a good spot.

They are highly intellectuals and they are also sports enthusiasts. Meaning, if there are physical tasks, they can accomplish it well. I like them too because they do not yell to each other and they do not put a blame on one another. They just enjoy the competition.

The Amazing Race Season 19

The first episode of the Amazing Race Season 19 was aired last night. The 11 new teams will compete the race around the world for the big prize 1Million Dollars! The race started at the foothills of a temple in California. Ernie Halvorsen (project manager) and Cindy Chiang (brand manager) from Chicago are the first team to arrive on the pit stop and they got the express pass which they can use before or after the 8 league of the race. They have the advance among the other teams because of that express pass. The teams drive the Ford Explorer towards the airport heading to Taipie, Taiwan which is the first league of the race.Bill Alden, a retired teacher and Cathy Alden a retired principal from Albany, Oregon came as the last team to arrive at the pit stop. It was hard for them to figure out the clue "look up". There was a big screen with the word written in Chinese but, they did not read the instructions correctly. So, they spent time roaming to the tallent building and even went up to the top floor. The clue was on the commerce area. They got the clue right! Despite all that, they are still in the game because the first league is non-elimination. But, on the next league of the race, there will be a double elimination round! The first in the history of the game. Who is your favorite team? I still have to watch the next episode to chose my favorites.

If Only He Chooses Good Decision

Watching TV shows such as Dateline, 20/20 and Snapped, I can't help but wonder why some people choose to hurt someone. I was watching the story of a girl who is getting ready for College. She even applied a part time job cleaning rooms in the compound. Four days after living independently, she went missing. A year after, her remains was found but only bone remains because her body was eaten by animals. The killer is her employer. Too young to die and the killer showed remorse. Bless the heart of that beautiful girl. If only he control his temper. If only he straighten his life and did not use drugs. If only he choose to be a good man! She could have been alive and her family could have been more happier today.

I Shouldn't Be Alive

I was watching "I Shouldn't Be Alive", a TV show from Animal Planet Channel which is based from a real life story of people who encountered near death experiences. Usually, it happened on a mountain climbing, rock climbing, and other outdoor activities. Mountaineers attempt to climb the highest peak of the mountain is a rewarding achievement. But, the danger in this type of activity is many. The weather condition play vital in the success of each climb. Imagine a rockfall and avalanches? That was what happened to two friends who went rock climbing. It was heartbreaking to know that they spent 10 days freezing to death. They suffered hypothermia and fatigue.

Honestly, I am not into adrenalin rush and I will never put myself in a situation where I will indanger myself with the following hazards: falling rocks, falling ice, snow-avalanches, falling from the cliff, falls from ice slopes and falls down snow slopes. If I am drag into this situation, it's not according to my own free-will!

Anyway, I just admire the survival technique of the survivors. They are strong-willed and very determined to stay focus and to stay alive. What an awesome show!
