I was in deep thought! As the survivor of 911 narrated how they were able to escape from the horrible event, I thought if I was there, I could be one of those who perished. First of all, I will go panic and I think I cannot leave someone who is dying. One of the survivor said, one security guard told them to leave and get for help. He stayed with the badly injured person. When they were out of the building, the ground started to shake and the tower collapse. They knew that the guard was there and he never made it. May he rest in peace as well as the other victims of 911.
On Sunday, it will be the 10th Anniversary of the 911. I was in the Philippines at that time and commuting from work. When I arrived home, it was already past 8 in the evening and my mom was watching FOX news on our cable TV. It was horrifying and we watched the whole event until dawn time! There were Filipinos who died on that attack and their life stories were heart breaking to hear especially now that they are gone!
