Oh my goodness, it is chilly today. I went out to take photos by the backyard. Our home insurance requested that we submit photos showing the fence and the roof. I was out for less than 10 minutes and my fingers and toes were numb. It is so chilly and breezy outside. I took few photos in a hurry LOL.
I love this weather, don't get me wrong. Time to wear the wintry boots, ohh lala!
Don't you love Google Doodle ? I do! It's always fun to see what's new and interesting for the day. It could be acknowledging a holiday, birthday or anniversary of influential people, weather, innovation, science and technology and so on. Today, I woke up so excited! Let me tell you, I am not a big fan of #summer. The weather is super cool ... that's exciting for me!
My husband went outside to turn on the pool pump and came back to tell me that this is the day that I love staying outdoors. He is right! The air is chilly at 6:30 AM , windy and hey, this is the start of my favorite time of the year.
The only set back is when all the leaves fall on the ground. That's a lot of raking and blowing to do. I decided to just mulch it , make it as a fertilizer. I will not worry that for now. I will just enjoy the cool weather up to February. I don't think if I will miss swimming at all.

Oh yeah, this is our temperature right now. The temperature will further plummet at night time. A freeze watch was already issued since Monday until Tuesday. I saw my neighbors took their nice plants indoor protecting them from the wind chill as well. Here in our place, we have a cold snap, our share of the Polar Vortex.
Polar vortex is the counterclockwise rotating pool of extremely cold and dense arctic air. The cold snap that we are experiencing right now is exciting for us since we seldom have this cold temperature. On Wednesday, we will have 68 degrees and by Friday, the temperature will climb and will be back to normal on the 80's. Up north will be brutally cold so; please bundle up, keep warm and stay safe. On our third day in Disney World was totally fun! Why? Inside the park, we saw people all soaking wet of the rainstorm (remnants of #TSKaren) yet, they were still having fun, all smiles and had a great time. Oh yeah! We arrived in Disney parking lot when it's pouring rain so; when it slows down, we brought a folding umbrella with us. Some parents were very creative using the trash bags as rain coats. It was pretty neat.
We went in at 3PM and we drop by at Magic Kingdom, rode the boat, the monorail and twice the bus then, we went to Hollywood Studious. It was raining so bad but, thanks to our umbrella, we were all dry. As we drove home, the skies are still gloomy but, see the yellowish color? That's a pretty rainbow. Actually two rainbows are showing and it was my first time to see two rainbows forming in the sky. Amazing! As we drove the 528, it was raining so bad for few minutes. We arrived home safely and guess what? Our place is so dry.
Hello everyone, how was the weather in your area? I bet you are enjoying summer time huh? Did you go to the beach? We had so many errands these days that even though 15 minutes away is already the beach area, seems harder to go.
Yesterday, we went to Orlando to buy washer and dryer for our tenant in one of our condos. The weather was nice so; I decided to wear shorts and sleeveless. Not a good idea because for whole day, it was raining so bad. It was not cold but, it was just awkward.
When we dine in at the Ruby Tuesday at the Florida Mall, I am not alone with my attire. I could tell that people were caught off guard with the sudden rain. It was like a stormy rain. Again, it was not cold surprisingly. We stayed in the restaurant for almost 2 hours waiting for the rain to slow down.
It was already 8 PM when we drove home. It was raining so bad that hubby can't see the road. We decided to detour avoiding the dark clouds ahead. The forecast said that for the last three days starting Wednesday, it will gonna be rainy days. It is past noontime now, the sun is shining so brightly. What?
How was the weather in your place? Here in Florida, the weather is nasty! We went to Orlando this morning to meet the renters of our condo and made an appointment to the carpet cleaner for tomorrow. We have the final load today and when we went home, the clouds formation started to become dark and heavy. The storm was bad in some areas in Florida in fact, so many trees fell on some houses. Good thing was, nobody was hurt! Yep! We will again travel 40 minutes and meet the carpet cleaner who will do the work in our condo. We are so tired but, we need to prepare the condo for the new tenant. They are so excited to move in.
We really love Cocoa Beach because the place is not crowded on weekdays.
The sand is white and clean and the waves are good for surfing.
The sky is clear and blue that is why, the water is really inviting.
We just came here to take pictures and no plans of swimming.
Few people who lives nearby are walking on the shoreline with their dogs.
I love taking pictures of the clouds, skies and the beach. I think those are the subject of my photos.
The Hurricane Season is here in fact today, tropical Storm Don is heading it's way to Brownsville and Corpus Christie Texas, landfall on a Friday afternoon. In the coastal area, storm surge from Hurricane is the greatest threat to life and property. According to the news awhile back, Storm Don is expected to strengthen before it hit Texas.
I hope that everyone in the Gulf area are prepared for this storm. Be safe everyone!
