Glitch in Weather Forecast

Hello everyone, how was the weather in your area? I bet you are enjoying summer time huh? Did you go to the beach? We had so many errands these days that even though 15 minutes away is already the beach area, seems harder to go.

Yesterday, we went to Orlando to buy washer and dryer for our tenant in one of our condos. The weather was nice so; I decided to wear shorts and sleeveless. Not a good idea because for whole day, it was raining so bad. It was not cold but, it was just awkward.

When we dine in at the Ruby Tuesday at the Florida Mall, I am not alone with my attire. I could tell that people were caught off guard with the sudden rain. It was like a stormy rain. Again, it was not cold surprisingly. We stayed in the restaurant for almost 2 hours waiting for the rain to slow down.

It was already 8 PM when we drove home. It was raining so bad that hubby can't see the road. We decided to detour avoiding the dark clouds ahead. The forecast said that for the last three days starting Wednesday, it will gonna be rainy days. It is past noontime now, the sun is shining so brightly. What?

So Hopeless

Twice a day, my mother and I had a schedule for video chat using either the skype or YM. I know what's going on with my family and the latest news in my city back home. Today, my mother informed me that a Sendong survivor who lives in tent city committed a suicide and I can only speculate why.

My aunt and her family are Sendong survivors too. They went back to their home only last week. They have been living with my mother for almost two months. I don't want them to live in the evacuation center because the situation is stressful. I helped them with their basic needs hoping that their life will be back to normal. Stress is hard to handle and I do not want my aunt and her family to suffer more.

DSWD gave a card to all the Sendong survivors. My aunt got a card but, whatever assistance entitled to them, they got nothing so far because their card has no number and no signature from the officials. My aunt waited for half day just to get the number stamped on their card.

When the DSWD visited to their home yesterday, they told them she is not entitled to receive anything because their house is already in good shape. My aunt was upset!

The city receives millions of assistance all over the world. My aunt got nothing. I provided a new floor mat, new sala set, new curtain and when DSWD saw that, they refused to help them.

I thought about the man who committed a suicide. His situation must be real hard and hopeless. and I can only sigh.

Be Yourself

I am not an expert of giving advise but, I am a good listener. By listening to others rant, I can have the power to combat my own weaknesses. It gives me an open mind about what's happening around me. We all have problems and we do have our rants in life. We even have lousy aspirations just to belong and get noticed! But, life is exciting and we should not hang on to one aspect which we thought we are not good at! A friend asked me, what do women wants in a man?

There are so many activities to do to divert interests that would somehow uplift the "ego". There's no book that can make you better to attract women. It may works with others and may not work with you. It's good to listen but, use your common sense. Just go out and be yourself. If you are responsible, use that intellect in sensible manner, live normal and you are a career oriented, women will fall for you.

Stop trying so hard for others to notice you. Let the women see who you are by being yourself. If they don't accept you then, they don't deserve you. Just be yourself and enjoy life as it is.
