Oh boy! My nephew is so funny in this picture, just like a scarecrow! My brother and his family together with my mother went to Manila via Cebu Pacific Airline for a short vacation. I booked their hotel stay at Bayview Park Hotel Manila for 5 days and they were having a grand time.
These pictures were taken at the Museo Pambata in Metro manila. This museum has 7 theme areas namely: My Body Works, Career Options, Marketplace, Environment, Children in the Global Village, Old Manila, and My Planet Earth. The picture below has a rice planting background, a journey showing the Filipino culture.
Showcasing the children's "Career Option"...
... a miniature jeepney which is a popular transportation in the Philippines.
Bahay Kubo or Nipa hut...
I was here 18 years ago and I enjoyed it when I chaperoned my niece in their Educational tour. The hands-on activities stimulates learning and helps the children understand the past, present and future of the world around them.
