Merchant Account

We tried to gas up in a gasoline station yesterday and we were surprise to know that they do not accept credit card payments. That was really a big shame on their business because most people prefer to pay cards. It is a hassle to bring cash all the time so, most transactions that we have are paid with cards either debit or credit. It will definitely hurt the business because customers are looking for convenience to purchase a product. They need to have the merchant accounts to keep up with competitors.

If they are worried about the rates, they can actually research and find cheaper transaction rates so that they can start using it. They will continue to drive away the customers if they do not apply for a merchant account. Actually, my husband and I wanted to open a business by the mall. When we started to list down what we need for the business, we decided that we are not ready yet. We need to think about the business, manpower, and also open a merchant account. If we start now, it will be overwhelming for us. But, our case is different from them. They should prioritize to apply the best credit card processing to keep their customers.
