Glitch in Weather Forecast

Hello everyone, how was the weather in your area? I bet you are enjoying summer time huh? Did you go to the beach? We had so many errands these days that even though 15 minutes away is already the beach area, seems harder to go.

Yesterday, we went to Orlando to buy washer and dryer for our tenant in one of our condos. The weather was nice so; I decided to wear shorts and sleeveless. Not a good idea because for whole day, it was raining so bad. It was not cold but, it was just awkward.

When we dine in at the Ruby Tuesday at the Florida Mall, I am not alone with my attire. I could tell that people were caught off guard with the sudden rain. It was like a stormy rain. Again, it was not cold surprisingly. We stayed in the restaurant for almost 2 hours waiting for the rain to slow down.

It was already 8 PM when we drove home. It was raining so bad that hubby can't see the road. We decided to detour avoiding the dark clouds ahead. The forecast said that for the last three days starting Wednesday, it will gonna be rainy days. It is past noontime now, the sun is shining so brightly. What?

New and Beautiful Mailbox

When we moved to our new house 2 months ago, the driveway was busy with our two cars and the cars of the contractors that we hired. Sometimes, we park our cars on the side of our property giving a space for the contractors. One afternoon, my husband accidentally ran over the post of the mailbox. It was totaled and lay flat on the ground. I thought, my oh my, another budget to consider. I wished we had a column mailbox because it sturdier and it can withstand a slight bump. It seems that the life of the old mailbox go with the owner when they move.

Anyway, we bought a new mailbox that has two doors and I assembled it while my husband digs the foundation for the mailbox post. We did it successfully and the mailman was very happy because he will no longer walk to our house to deliver the mail.

Our Grill Gazebo on Father's day

How was your Father's Day celebration everyone? I bet you had an exciting and happy treats to your father today huh? My husband and I had no plans earlier today except to attend the mass at 8 AM. After the mass, hubby said we will look for a gazebo so; we went to Walmart and bought a Mainstays product.This is a grill gazebo and it is indeed durable. Oh, we had so much food that can feed 8 people. The day ended as we watch the golf game on TV. Hubby had a nice celebration. Happy Father's Day to all the good fathers all over the world.

I was at the superstore today and while I was at the check-out counter, the lady next to me bought an eyeglass. She is really pretty and her eyes are blue. Bad Weather

How was the weather in your place? Here in Florida, the weather is nasty! We went to Orlando this morning to meet the renters of our condo and made an appointment to the carpet cleaner for tomorrow. We have the final load today and when we went home, the clouds formation started to become dark and heavy. The storm was bad in some areas in Florida in fact, so many trees fell on some houses. Good thing was, nobody was hurt! Yep! We will again travel 40 minutes and meet the carpet cleaner who will do the work in our condo. We are so tired but, we need to prepare the condo for the new tenant. They are so excited to move in.

Educational Tour for the Family

When I was growing up, my brother and I were not exposed on traveling outside the city except summer time where I spent my whole vacation in the province. I like spending time with my cousins especially when we go swimming in the nearby waterfalls. Picking wild fruits in the forest was pretty exciting for me.On school days, I can't really remember that I attended an educational tour. I only started traveling when I was in college and I learn a lot from it. I believe that acquiring knowledge is not limited in the four corners in the classroom.Last Valentines Day, I treat my brother and his family for a trip to Manila for 5 days. I shouldered the plane ticket, food, entrance fee to some parks and museum, hotel stay and gave my mom some pocket money. All 6 of them deserve to have a bonding vacation. It was an educational tour for the kids because they went to the museums, Manila Zoo, and travelled to some of the major attractions in the Manila. Well, the adults enjoyed their vacation too.
