Streaming Live Thru Netflix

One of the things that I love to do when I am at home is watch Netflix on TV using my Wii Console. I have thousands of selections to watch and it's streaming instantly. If it's weekend, I watch a marathon of a TV series such as Ghost Whisperer, Deadliest Catch, Ghost Hunters and Glee. Sometimes, I watch my favorite movies over and over again. Mailman is a Hero

In Florida, a mailman is a well respected and play an important part of the community where he's assigned. Happened this week, the mailman did his routine taking out mails and delivering new mails in each of the mailbox in a neighborhood. He noticed that a mailbox of an elderly woman who lives alone is full and it's not picked out for three days. He had a feeling that there's something wrong because working as a mailman in this neighborhood for so many years, he knows most of the people. This old lady would come out from the house the moment he walks away from the mailbox or hand him mails to send. What he did was knock on the door and he heard a moan so, he called 911. It was a lucky day for this elderly woman. She was found in the kitchen, hurt and lay there for two days. She was taken to the hospital and she is alright now. This is just one of the stories that gives us inspiration. Miracle of human survival in the odds of a situation. The man is a hero for saving the life of an elderly woman, right?

This is my Disney Watch. I love wearing it because it's very comfortable and i love the design and color. It's very simple and sleek.

The Simpsons

Twenty two seasons strong and no other animated show can touch The Simpsons. The lovable Simpson family, Homer, his wife Marge and their three children Bart, Maggie and Lisa are my favorite dysfunctional family of all time. I've been a fan of this show since I was a elementary school and it was just a short on The Tracey Ullman Show. Every once in awhile I get a chuckle as I remember Bart with black hair.

The setting of the show takes place in the town of Springfield in some unknown state in the US. One of the things about this show is the characters and how they typify Middle American families. Bart is the black sheep of the family, Lisa the nerdy sister and Marge is the overburdened housewife who tries to pretend that everything is perfect when nothing is. I find the pretense for Homer's character to be just lovely. Somehow the lazy, donut-eating dad with the buffoonish personality has the job of safety inspector at a nuclear power plant. I could probably go on and on about the side characters as well. That's what happens when you go twenty two seasons.

There was a point when I was afraid that they had jumped the shark by having baby Maggie shoot Homer's boss Mr. Burns, but the show has since corrected course. I look forward to watching the twenty third season on tvbydirect.com.

The Mardi Gras Parade

These pictures were taken last year in Ocean Springs, Mississippi during the Mardi Gras Parade. Oh I love Mardi Gras, the beads, the food and the jolly faces of people.January and February months are so chilly but, when we are involved with catching beads, it changes the atmosphere.If the parade were scheduled in the evening, it's so chilly especially when it's windy. Most people have snuggies and cuddle up with throw blankets.During Mardi Gras, we love to catch up the parade in the nearby cities. Hubby and I did as far as New Orleans. Gezzz...it was crazy in French Quarter. If you hate crowds, don't go to Mardi Gras in Louisiana.

Mandible

Let's talk about Science. Actually, I was probably in college when I encountered the word mandible as seen in the picture below. This is the lower jaw consisting of a single bone or of completely fused bones. This is one of the bones found of the little Caylee Anthony with a duct tape. It is just sad to note that even though her remains found after 6 months, it was not a whole body. Her tiny decomposed body was tossed in an area where animals thrive, of course the body was eaten by some animals. There was fragments of bones scattered in the area showing that the body was dragged and bones showed bite marks of animals. What a horrendous death she had and she don't deserve it! I really hope there is justice for Caylee!
