In an unexpected place, I saw my friend from college. I was inside the shopping mall and she saw me first then, she invited me for a cup of coffee. We were both teachers back home and for so many years, I never heard from her. I thought she was teaching but, she told me she went back to school and study law. With sheer determination, she graduated with flying honors. She is now a lawyer and happily married living in California. She loves her career now and currently busy with a tough case brief. She did not elaborate but, she said she had no regrets having to switch careers. She loves people and it was her dream to defend the cases of those who are wrongly accused. Anyway, she is working in a firm that provides legal advice and legal counsel in many areas such as product liability, injury, accident, and employment law. They have a mission to provide consumer protection so; when clients seek for justice in cases like wrongful death, brain injury, and birth injury, their firm is the best in the area. Well, the meeting that we have was a blessing in disguise. We were able to catch up with what is going on with our lives. It was a real fun day for both of us!

The Christian Dating

I was a teacher for more than ten years and because of my work, I have no time to go out and party. After school, I was already tired when I get home. The traffic as I commute from my workplace to home would make me lazy to go out and have the fun. I forgot about myself as I become workaholic. When I was in my thirties, I started dating seriously. I was really praying that through Christian dating I will find my partner of life. God must have heard my prayers because I married to a believer of Jesus Christ. We are married for four years now and we are both happy. How about you? Have you found your soul mate yet? Just pray that God will show you the way to meet the man of your dreams. Did you know that compatibility is very important to make a relationship lasts longer? You need to get along with what you believe and what makes you like to do. Planking in the Philippines

When I saw these pictures, I was blown away! He loves Planking and he would brag about it to his students. Oh yeah, he is a high school teacher from the Philippines. If you wanna know why he is into planking, let me know and you can interview him yourself (",).The picture above is hard to do because of those slippery green algae on the rock hehehe. he did it though!
Planking is a Lying Down Game and as you can see, he was face down in an unusual place. His hands touch the sides of the body. If this is a competition, the selection of the location to execute the planking is the best because the place is unusual and original.The planking above is hard to execute too. Imagine him doing this with teachers and students watching him (",). I bet I can't do planking because my nose will look like a bulldog in 2 minutes, LOL. Good thing Choi has pointed nose to level his body while doing the planking. Planking refers to mimicking a wooden plank and rigidity of the body must be performed to make a good planking. My friend did well!

Some People Are Born Tactless

Just this week, I encountered a person who is tactless! I would not mind if I know her for so long but, I just met her as an acquaintance maybe three months ago. I was a bit reluctant to befriend her because she talk too much. There was a red flag when I was with her ONE TIME. She talk most of the time about the people she met and how miserable their life is. I do not like to listen to stories of people who cannot defend themselves. That was a red flag for me. Some people are born tactless, this maybe vague as a statement but, it means deeper than that and she was so tactless. This person did not respect anyone and she thought she was better than anyone else! It never occurred to her that what she said was insensitive. I wish her well but, I do not want to be associated with this type of personality. I smell trouble!

Parking Lot Near the Cruise Terminal

When I book our cruise ship vacation, the next step that I have in mind was whether to fly to Miami or rent a car. When I check all the rental cars such as Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and Alamo, all cars were rented out from Orlando for October 17. The only option left was drive our own car and leave it at a private parking lot.I searched for parking lots nearby the port and I found one. I reserved it for 4 days and it cost us $48 and the transfer from the parking lot to the port is free for two people. The parking lot is Premier Parking Ventures and the place is okay because it's nearby the port. When we arrive the parking lot, the place is small and the system is chaotic. We give our reservation paper and park to wherever we want. Then, we waited for the van to pick us up and transport us to the port. We arrived first but, we were accommodated on the second van. It was raining and we were standing out in the rain. They have no waiting area.

Residency or No?

I recently received a job offer as a resident at a hospital. I have the night shift, which makes me feel worried about being gone during the night. I checked out Home Security santa ana to make me feel a little safer about leaving my wife safe at night. I want to someday be the chief of the entire staff, but that means that I need to take this job on the night rotation staff. I wouldn’t even be worried about it if my wife hadn’t told me literally 2 days ago that she’s pregnant with our first child. She’s a night nurse, so my offer to go on nights would have been perfect, but now she’s going to step down from her position to be a mom. I’m already worried about leaving them at home alone at night. I guess we will deal with all of these things within the next few weeks- and I need to decide if I want to take this job or not! It always seems like everything happens at once! I’m praying for guidance in this situation.

Such a Beautiful Sky

Isn't it beautiful? Here I go again, doing my sky watching! When we have our short road trip to Mississippi last month, I told my husband that we will have to go to Ship Island. We will ride a ferry for less than $25 each. Since we have an extra day to wander the Gulf Coast, he agreed but, when we were on the port, the captain told us that they postponed the sail to Ship Island. There was a weather disturbance and the storm was really bad.

While hubby and the captain where talking, my eyes were glued on the sky! OMG! The sky was amazing and the clouds were like a painting!
The sky was great but, they know better when there is a coming storm!We went back to our hotel and later on went shopping in the Singing River Mall. I used to call it as the "ghost mall" because there was nobody there! Few customers and the price at Macys and other stores, so unbelievable!What a glorious day it was! I had fun shopping and later that day, hubby and I went to the Isle to play the slot machines. Okay! I lost a bit of money but, it was alright! We had fun anyway! This is the view of the Gulf Coast!
