Debt Ceiling? That is a serious negotiation of the government for the past weeks now. Republican and Democrats! Oh, I do refrain from talking about politics! I will not talk about that. I will just focus on my financial capability as an individual.
Back in PI, I have only one card because every time I apply, I was not qualified! As simple as that and I have no regrets! It would mean, less card equals less credit! I usually loan money from friends though and my financial status had been like that most of the time simply because I have obligation and bills to pay. Having one source of income, that is really hard to meet both ends. But, I did manage well even though, I live according to my means.
Presently, I admit I own credit cards and I am a responsible card holder. In the US, credit history is very important and Good rating is very important!
Just like a Country, a triple A rating is very important! Status symbol perhaps?
Since I have a good rating, I keep getting credit card offers from different banks. But, it's up to me to add more or not! I decided not to add more. My credit limit is already high which I really don't use much. I know in my heart, if I use it, it is NOT MY MONEY but a CREDIT which I will eventually pay!
Can I request for a higher credit limit? Of course, I can! But, why should I do that? I will not request for a higher credit limit because I am not planning to use all my credit. After all, it is credit and it is not my money!
Now, US credit rating was downgraded to AA from triple A. America is a rich country. Why do they borrow money from China anyway?
If you live in Chicago and had just purchased some new appliances for your kitchen, that will be awesome right? But, how will you get rid of the old appliances? Most of the neighborhood have their rules on what size is allowed in the neighborhood dumpster. So, you can't just bring your old refrigerator or old gas range in the dumpster. I was shopping for jeans the other day because from size 0, I am now size 2. I was truly happy that I gain weight around 7 lbs more and it was a huge accomplishment for me. I am already in the selection process inside my walk-in closet, set aside the dress, jeans and shirts that doesn't fit me anymore. I was watching the Biggest Loser show the last season and I was touched when they feel good losing a pound. It was like the biggest achievement of all time. I feel the same way, although mine is gaining weight.
Anyway, while shopping for my clothes, I saw some display of the
plus size formal dresses and
plus size clothes in the
plus size women's clothing. It was so sexy and elegant even though it is the fit of plus size women. In any shopping mall, there is always a children's section where I used to buy my clothing since I am so petite and nothing would fit in the junior section. That was before and I was so glad I am over with that section. Now, I can shop in the junior and women sections. When I am with my friends, we can shop together in the same area. It's easy to flip small to XXL. My cousin sometimes can fit clothing's in the XXL size but, mostly we go to plus size area. Anyway, if you are in the category of plus size, be proud of who you are. You will look sexy in the clothing you choose once you found the right fit and you can carry it easy and that makes you beautiful inside and out. The beauty of being a home owner is that you are the boss of your own home. When you buy it cash then, you have nothing to worry about foreclosure or mortgage. The best thing that you can do is to furnish it, make it beautiful and maintain a well-manicured lawn, paying the usual bills are just easy to manage. Hubby and I own two condos which we rented the other property and we are occupying the second condo. The home insurance of the property in the beach area cost a little bit higher because of tsunami but, the view is spectacular especially during sunsets and sunrise. What a natural music to the ear right? Anyway, Hawaii is one of my wishlist places to live. I love the culture, the food, the greenery and most of all the beach. We went to Blue Heron Hotel nearby Downtown Disney this afternoon. It was so traffic and it took us more than an hour travel to the resort. Without it, this can be travelled for only 23 minutes from our place.
Because the traffic was bad, while sitting on the passenger's seat, I took the time taking the sundown pictures.
It's already 7 PM, very humid and so muggy outside.
