Red Alabama Shirt for Christmas

My husband loves to watch college football games on TV. He was excited this month because the Crimson Tide, his favorite team will be playing for championship. I watch the game with him sometimes in fact; I wore an Alabama apparel just to get myself in the mood of the game. I have a shirt with a big letter A sign on it. It actually stands for Alabama and I like it because it is the initial of my name. Hubby bought it last Christmas. Upon seeing this shirt online, I told hubby to buy me this red top and the skirt as well. I like the design of this tops and the red color is my favorite. I got the hunch that my husband would buy it; after all, he loves seeing me cheering for his favorite team.

Photobucket
When we live in Mississippi, my husband bought me an NFL Jersey and that year, I was cheering for Saints who became the champion. I also have Saints caps and Saints sweater. Anyway, one of my friends back home collects T-shirts and caps. So far, I bought Mississippi and Florida caps for her and she wanted me to buy her an Alabama and Georgia caps. She sent me money to purchase the items though. Right now, I am looking for University of Alabama shirts for me. Are you looking for Alabama apparel? Just click the links above and I am sure, you will like their selections. Go and check it out!

Are you looking for a secondary storage solution? That is really important! Have I told you that I was hacked before and the bad culprit deleted all my files? Oh yeah and it was a terrible ordeal! My Favorite Christmas Ornament for 2012

While watching the Christmas Movies in Hallmark, the characters always mention the word "tradition" and each of them vary. Some family traditions are: baking Christmas Cookies, buying PJ's to all members in the family, singing Christmas carols after dinner,  and more.

I was thinking we started our tradition five years ago when hubby and I bought special ornaments each year. For 2012, I found Mr. Christmas.  It is a voice recognition Christmas Tree Ornament and it sync with the lights and the sounds of 24 Christmas Carols. I like to continue this tradition. What's yours?

Infographic on Ev and Solar Charging Stations

The morning rush is not pleasant at all. For one, there is the annoying traffic which if you miscalculated the time, you will end up receiving a memo for being late. If you are a commuter, the vehicle/gas emission probably ruined your day more than once right? We disregard about these inconveniences but, we are aware that pollution is not good for our environment and health.

Anyway, have you seen a solar-powered car? I heard about Solar Stations but, I don't know if we have them in our area and how many they are. I would love to drive a solar powered car so that; I can contribute for a clean environment. How about you? Take a look at the infographic below:

Anne Hathaway as Fantine in Les Miserables 2012

We love her as Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries. Who would ever forget that heartwarming character of the Princess of the Kingdom of Genovia right? I love that movie. Anne Hathaway is an Emmy Award-winning actress for her voice-over performance on The Simpsons. She is such a versatile actress, isn't she? Have you seen her in The Devil Wears Prada? Her character is Andrea Sachs, a college graduate who goes to New York, got a job as a co-assistant to a famous fashion magazine editor Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep). If you haven't seen the movie, I advise you to watch it. Now, have you heard the song, I Dreamed a Dream from the musical Les Miserables? Well, Anne Hathaway will play Fantine and she will be singing that song in Les Miserables the movie. This movie will surely win the Oscars! Check out this video:

There was a time when men were kind
When their voices were soft
And their words inviting
There was a time when love was blind
And the world was a song
And the song was exciting
There was a time
Then it all went wrong
I dreamed a dream in times gone by
When hope was high
And life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving
Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid

No song unsung
No wine untasted
But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart
And they turn your dream to shame
He slept a summer by my side
He filled my days with endless wonder
He took my childhood in his stride
But he was gone when autumn came
And still I dream he'll come to me
That we'll live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather
I had a dream my life would be
So different from this hell I'm living
So different now from what it seemed
Now life has killed
The dream I dreamed.

Thank You Papermate Inkjoy Pen

I love sending cards to my friends and family on Thanksgiving. It is my way of showing my gratitude and appreciation for being there for me and my husband. It is a privilege that my husband and I have beautiful friends (inside and out) where we can share our thoughts when we are down or happy. It is seldom that we find true friends these days right? That is why we are so thankful for the gift of friendship.
This year, we already sent couple of cards to our dear friends and family. Thanking them for their time, for their laughter's and for being there in every bit of the way. Because they are special, I used a retractable ballpoint pen from Papermate Inkjoy Pen. I got this pen for free and it writes so smoothly. It is rubberized so; my grip is perfect, comfortable and I have all the control to write nicely. It makes my penmanship neat and nice-looking. I only write one word (see the photo above) but, you can tell that this pen writes good right?

Thanks to Business-supply.com for sending me these two pens. I am loving my penmanship and I am almost done writing the remaining Thanksgiving Cards .

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. The author was NOT compensated for this post

Plastic Bottles, Recycling and Plastic Welding

Do you recycle? Most of us probably have a recycle bin in our garage right? We have two bins and most of the time; both bins are full when the recycle guys come in our neighborhood to collect them. We are encourage to recycle for so many reasons:

One is to prevent waste of potentially useful materials such as plastics, papers, glass, metal and soda cans;
To reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials;
To reduce energy usage;
To reduce air pollution and water pollution;
To lower greenhouse gas emissions and may more possible reasons.

All of us should recycle because it is the key for waste reduction. Isn't it nice and healthy to live in a green and clean environment? When we recycle, we reduce the garbage thrown in the landfill and some people/company can re-use them.

Few months back, I saw a documentary in UK showing the plastic bottle being recycled and made into an outer wear material. It was pretty impressive. In the Philippines, a TV company collected plastic bottles from the viewers and recycled them to make classroom chairs.
The making of clothing using the plastic bottle is interesting. The plastic bottle that was collected was being process at the plastic bottle recycling center. The first stage is shredding then, shipped to the textile industry around the globe. The shredded plastic bottles will be sorted out separating the white from colored then; it will take a bath to strain the stickers from the shredded plastic bottles. It was a complicated process but, after the plastic spend hours inside the rotating drum; they transferred the plastic to a rotating machine. It came out like a thread and heat again to make polyester. Seeing such documentary film was really impressive. The recycling process is hard to accomplish without the help of machine innovation.

The plastic manufacturing industry is successful because of the tools and machines such as spin welding and plastic welding. The invention of these machines made the job done easy. I saw a video in you tube showing a plastic placed at the bottom. They use the spin welding machine and the frictional heat joins the two parts. The plastic at the top is spun at high speeds against the plastic at the bottom.

Anyway, check out the video in you tube for visual understanding on how these machines work well. For more information, visit the links above as well.

You're Gonna Miss This by Trace Adkins

How are you guys? It's been a while huh? I was hibernating and having a "ME" time for days .... away from the cyber world. I was just at home, enjoying my time re-decorating our home and that includes, re-arranging the furniture's and taking down our Christmas decors from the mezzanine in our garage. I am excited for Christmas holiday you know.

While doing all that, I was listening to Pandora and country music the whole time. My music preference has changed a lot especially when I live in Mississippi. I grew up with love songs, the kind of music that I can go "senti" about for no apparent reasons LOL.Well, that's just me.

Anyway, I just want to share with you all this song sung by Trace Adkins. Do you have children? I bet you can relate to the message of this beautiful song. You should listen! Enjoy!

She was starin' out the window of their SUV
Complainin', sayin', “I can't wait to turn eighteen”
She said, “I'll make my own money and I'll make my own rules
Momma, put the car in park out there in front of the school”
And she kissed her head, and said, “I was just like you”

Chorus:
You're gonna miss this
You're gonna want this back
You're gonna wish these days
Hadn't gone by so fast

These are some good times
So take a good look around
You may not know it now
But you're gonna miss this

Before she knows it, she's a brand new bride
In her one bedroom apartment and her daddy stops by
He tells her it's a nice place, she says, “It'll do for now”
Starts talkin' about babies and buyin' a house
Daddy shakes his head and says, “Baby, just slow down”

Chorus:
Cuz' you're gonna miss this
You're gonna want this back
You're gonna wish these days
Hadn't gone by so fast

These are some good times
So take a good look around
You may not know it now
But you're gonna miss this

Five years later there's a plumber
Workin' on the water heater
Dog's barkin', phone's ringin'
One kid's cryin' and one kid's screamin'
And she keeps apologizin'
He says, “They don't bother me
I've got two babies of my own

One's thirty-six, one's twenty-three”
Huh, it's hard to believe
But you're gonna miss this
You're gonna want this back

You're gonna wish these days
Hadn't gone by so fast
These are some good times
So take a good look around
You may not know it now
But you're gonna miss this
You're gonna miss this
Yeah, you're gonna miss this

A Good Deed

Few weeks ago, my husband approached a couple who were scrapping at the pile of trash at the neighbors yard. They were normal people but, cannot find work because as you all know, jobs are scarce. But, they need to find ways to put some food on the table.

They were friendly and my husband told them, if they like scraps from our old shed they can take it down. They were so thrilled and wanted to take it down that day. My hubby gave them a schedule and that was yesterday.

The woman came by with her lovely teenager and two young toddler kids. She told us, the boyfriend has left her and moved with his mom. She had nobody to depend on but, herself. She needed the money so; she decided to knock it down with the help of her daughter.

My husband was worried. It was a medium size shed but; after almost 2 hours, they were able to knock the whole shed down. While they are doing those battle, I bake a banana cake and gather some chips, candies and sodas from the pantry. I have full bag of goodies and when they are ready to wrap up, I gave the food to the mother.

She was teary-eyed but, happy to have them. That was my good deed yesterday. How about you? Share in the comment below, I want to hear them. God bless us all.

Invest in Gold and Silver Coins

We work. We save. We spend. That is normal right? We have to work hard; put some money for savings and spend for the things that we need. When rainy days come, we don’t panic because we have a source to depend on. This kind of life is alright but, most of us aim to make our lives get better so; we invest.

Investment entails big expectation to profit. A person invests on business, realty venture, and stock market. Buying American gold coins and gold eagle coins became popular these days. People buy silver coins for investment too.

What is the value of coins? Why is it popular? The value of coins depends on their rarity and it will be determined thru these scales: "Sheldon rarity scale" and the "Universal rarity scale" "Rarity Scales".

Now, since coins are usually made of an alloy, the fineness of the coin is the actual gold content in a coin and expressed as a "per mil," or thousandths. It will be better explained by this: gold with .999 fine will be 999/1000 pure gold; with the other 1/1000 being an alloy.

When we buy jewelry, we always look at the karat. The karat weight is a traditional fraction-based system that is used for fineness of gold so; one karat being equal to 1/24 part of pure gold in an alloy.

This maybe vague but, the bottom line is that collecting coin is a good investment. You can choose gold or silver, either of the two can be good investment.

If you are looking for a good investment to pursue why not buy silver and gold coins? Find a reputable coin dealer and start investing today. Great Southern Coins are not only good for investment but; a good hobby to pursue as well. The design of the bullion is very interesting to note.

A bullion coin is a precious metal and the value is stored therefore, investing in bullion coins are so attractive and definitely profitable. Bullion coin is minted after 1800 and it possess a purity of not less than 900 thousandths. Bullion coins are usually available in gold and silver. The American Eagle series is available in gold, silver and platinum, and the Canadian Maple Leaf series is available in gold, silver, platinum and also palladium. Bullion coins are also available in various weights so; prices vary a lot. If you want to learn more, visit the link above.

The History of the Athletic Shoe

I just bought a pair of Adidas running shoes and I admit, it is now my most favorite footwear. I love shoes and when I shop, I go for comfort and style then, the brand. Speaking of shoe style, did you know the history of the Athletic Shoe?  I don't either until today. According to the info-graphic below,  the cowhide moccassin is the oldest preserved footwear. Then came the many types of shoes until the Five-finger designed rubber shoes was created. Check out the infographic below.
History Of Athletic Shoes brought to you by Schuler Shoes and New Balance Twin Cities

What can you say about the comfort shoes for men and women history ? What style is your favorite?

Pro Gun T-shirt : Offensive or Not ?

I have seen people wearing T-shirts with questionable prints. Honestly, if the print is offensive to my religion, morality or decency then; I will be bothered. But, I will mind my own business. I will just ignore the message because I respect the freedom of speech.
Now, check out the political gun tees below and tell me, do you think this is offensive? I received this T-shirt for FREE sent by theoriginalhomelandsecurity.com. I like this t-shirt because the fabric is soft and the fitting is perfect and print is nicely done including the vibrant colors. But, the print does not reflect my stand about this issue (wink). I really like the quality of this T-Shirt. If only the print is something else :-), I would keep it for myself.

I guess I am just sensitive. If I wear this t-shirt, I know that some people will look at me with scrutiny. "How could she?" On the other hand, my husband is pro-gun. He believes that having a weapon at home will drive away the bad elements. He believes in the right to bear arms for protection.

My cousin saw this t-shirt and he likes it a lot so; I gave it to him on his birthday. He was bragging about this t-shirt. Well, I am happy for him and for whatever he stands for.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

My Gardening Activity

What's up guys? I am still not in the mood for blogging. I got tons of reviews to do and hoping I will be inspired this week. After being away from home for exactly 8 days, I was sad to see my squash plants in my vegetable garden eaten by myriad of insects. The insects made a way to get into my bitter melon plant as well and I was heart broken to see my first ever "ampalaya" eaten :-(  by pests. I have 4 more "ampalaya" and was eyeing on it everyday to keep out the pests. My okra is alright and was able to harvest enough to last a week. I plan to pull out the squash for good and hoping that my amplaya will be fine.

My flower garden on the other end is growing well and thriving great. Flowers are just pleasing to see isn't it?

Anyway, I am looking forward for my vegetable garden next year. This week, I am planting cruciferous vegies. I am all excited for my gardening activity. Thanks for stopping by.

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Every one of us have heard the idioms: Prevention is better than Cure.

October is an interesting month I should say because activities such as: the holy rosary month falls in October; Octoberfest for the greatest beer festival; thrilling Halloween which everyone are excited to celebrate and last but not the least, the National Breast Cancer Awareness – all events fall in the month of October.

I have quite a few notifications about National Breast Cancer Awareness and while reading their emails, I encountered the word Cruciferous for the first time. I learned that these are vegetables such as cauliflower, cabbage, cress, bok choy, broccoli and other similar green leafy vegetables.

Cruciferous is from the New Latin word Cruciferae and it means, cross-bearing from which the four petals resemble a cross. It is considered to be a healthy food and they are high in vitamin C and soluble fibre. It has multiple nutrients and phytochemicals with potential anticancer properties. According to preventcancer.org, “new research shows that as many as one-third of all cancer deaths are linked to diet and physical activity”.

So; to prevent the risk of cancer, we should start reducing our dietary fat intake and add a serving of fruits and vegetables especially cruciferous vegies to our daily diet.

Rock Festival

Isn’t it amazing to know that 53% of festival-goers are women? That figure was presented in the info graphic below. According to the study, music goer has common characteristics such as 46% are single men; 17% have downloaded music for free; and that the average salary of a performer is $28,000.

The month of July is the best time to go to a festival in fact; the study shows that 28% responded that they travel during that month. It is sunny and the weather is really great so; traveling to the festival during this month is the best time of the year.

Most festivals have event supplies and concession machines. People love souvenirs and gets hungry a lot so; big events such as the rock festival has these machines. The most popular festival having 300,000 in attendance is Lollapalooza. Just read through for more information about Rock Festival.

Bathroom Lighting Fixture

Few days ago, a friend asked me about the type of lighting fixtures I want in a bathroom. I told her that I fancy a sleek design and steel accents. We just bought a house and we are still in the process of renovating each space. We are done in the kitchen. I am happy to note that all appliances that we bought are made of stainless steel. Few of our friends did not like stainless steel appliances because they are not easy to clean. I opposed to that premise. The hand print can be easily removed using the right cleaner for stainless decors and of course with stainless appliances. Cleaning is no sweat at all!

The guest bathroom is halfway done. We have to buy a vanity mirror, few accessories and bathroom sconce lighting. Check out the photo above. That decorative wall lighting is really sophisticated don't you think? The glass bobeche accent has a translucent shade so; it will create a cozy ambiance in the bathroom. It does not reflect a bright light so; it doesn't hurt the eyes.

This unique design of sconce is one of the products sold at Waterworks. Their products are elegant and in high quality standard. You may check it out and for sure, you will agree. Waterworks company sells premium brand products for bathroom and kitchen. I have seen their beautiful selections of faucets, tubs, showers and bathroom accessories and they are indeed quality made.

Visiting Hannibal, Missouri : The Place of Mark Twain

If you are a bookworm, you know who Samuel Langhorne Clemens is. He is known by his pen name Mark Twain, the American author and known for his novels: The Adventures of Tom Sawyer in 1876 and the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn in 1885. I have read few pages of these novels when I was in College but, I never had the chance to sit down and finish both books.

Why he is the subject of my blog post today? Next week, we will be going to Missouri and Mark Twain grew up in Hannibal, Missouri. This place is the setting for Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer. My brother-in-law who lives in Missouri suggested that we should visit Hannibal. There are numerous historical places to see in Hannibal and mostly, related to Mark twain and those he mentioned in his novel. I am excited to see where he grew up.

Awesome Inspiration Sessions at Havertys

This post brought to you by Havertys Furniture. All opinions are 100% mine.

The most functional room in our home is the living room. We entertain our friends here, welcomed guests and watched our favorite football team on TV. The focal point of the room is the entertainment console where the Wii console has its own space, blu-ray player on the other corner and a 50" HDTV occupied the center of the console. Its a living room and media room dual functionality space in the house, and the favorite room that we hang out a lot. We have accessories being put up together  to make this room comfortable and fit our lifestyle. The products below are from Havertys and the ensemble can create an oasis when added to the living room. It is the kind of products that I would pick at Havertys which is just about 5 miles away from our place.

Havertys: Discover Something You offers 4 beautiful Inspiration Sessions started with Designing an Entertainment Space which is Now Showing launched last Sept 15. Their display of products are beautiful and stunning just like the picture below:
https://mail-attachment.googleusercontent.com/attachment/u/0/?ui=2&ik=592284a694&view=att&th=13979a13924bf68b&attid=0.1&disp=inline&realattid=35cf65235f7617f6_0.1&safe=1&zw&saduie=AG9B_P9997VDuHA86dypyiRu5sPc&sadet=1346773802925&sads=GcXTpJFO4wW6Ndidq3hkN
This is a man cave dream ensemble. The Electric Fireplace like the Marana Fireplace and entertainment console is the perfect option if you are considering using the basement as an entertainment space. Flame-like embers and an interior light create the look of a real flame while a thermostat controls the heat. It is much more attractive than a space heater right?

You should check Havertys in your place today. Watch out for other Inspiration Sessions on Oct.13 for Seasonal Escapes which is about Designing for Seasons; Nov.10 is Winter Colors which is Designing to incorporate Winter Colors and Dec.1 for Finishing Touches which is Making the Room Complete.

Beauty is Always in the Eyes of the Beholder

Beauty is a vague subject and it boils down to the premise that beauty is always in the eye of the beholder. In the notion of aesthetics, beauty differs significantly. No matter how appealing a person can be, it will be a superficial beauty when manners and good character does not exist. For now, let us look at physical beauty and how does a woman strive to stay pleasant to please herself and others.

Astronauts: $63 Million Fare Per Seat On Russian Spaceships

When my husband and I visited NASA at the Kennedy Space Center, we were surprised to see that some areas of NASA parking lot were occupied. There were quiet a few guests heading to NASA. All we thought was that, it will be a ghost attraction after thousands of employees were laid-off in NASA. At least, there were hundreds unlike before, it was by the thousands.

The shuttle program was forced to retire because it is too costly, according to the present administration. To lessen the US spending, the administration decided to cut the budget at NASA. The US President ALLOWS it to happen. The shuttle program has ended this year in BHO's administration. Thousands of skilled employees at NASA including scientists were laid off. It boomerang to the business establishments here and hundreds had closed down. Families? They lost their housing for they can't pay the mortgage. The lawn guy that we met who cut the grass in one neighborhood said, he had to find ways to support his family. Highly intellectuals in SCIENCE are now in lawn business. Heart breaking isn't it

Right now, if Astronauts had to travel to the ISS or International Space Station, they have to pay the Russian big amount of money. $753 million is the deal made by NASA to pay the amount to Russia for 12 round trips to the International Space Station.

Taking about BIG OUTSOURCING right? They should cut "other" spending not the SPACE EXPLORATION, for crying out loud!

That is almost $63 million per Astronaut. NASA has a dozen Astronauts on standby to travel on Russia's venerable Soyuz spacecraft. So sad huh? Source of this info? Visit space.com or nasa.gov.

Tropical Storm Isaac Heads to New Orleans

I have been to New Orleans and boy, this place has not fully recovered from the devastation brought by Hurricane Katrina and in few hours, Tropical Storm Isaac will directly hit this place. What a coincidence because exactly 7 years ago ( Aug 29, 2005), Hurricane Katrina hits hard New Orleans.

The threat of TS Isaac grows by the minute and I hope the people living in the coastal areas of Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana take the warning seriously.

I saw the news just a minute ago showing HardRock Biloxi sign which says "We are open and Rooms Available". The Beach Boulevard area in Biloxi is not the safest place to check in especially when TS Isaac is heading that way.

The house of my late father-in-law was one of the houses which was completely destroyed during Hurricane Katrina. It was a scary situation but, thank God, there was no one in the house. They went to Mobil Alabama.

All our relatives in Mississippi are already bracing for the TS Isaac. My sis-in-law lived near the beach so; she told us that she will be going to her sister who lives inland.

Anyway, I hope the storm will weaken and that everyone will be safe.

Prince Harry, the Lovable Rogue

Have you seen the latest scandalous picture of Prince Harry? Well, it's all over the Internet. If you want to see it, check it out at TMZ Website. They posted genuine photos of Prince Harry .... butt naked.

It was blurry but, Prince Harry was in full view naked and cups his private (*o*) hehehe while a naked woman was hiding at his back.

The next photo, naked Prince Harry appeared as hugging the naked woman from her back therefore, his naked butt was exposed!

Prince Harry was in Las Vegas last Friday for a Charity event. He stayed in a VIP Suite with friends and invited guests. He being naked is part of the game called strip billiards. Oh, Prince Harry is all over the news in print and on TV Online.

Got a question though, why most of the comedians in the evening shows said : "two balls with no pockets"? Can anyone please tell me LOL?

Crowd at Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day

Hubby and I went to Chick-Fil-A to support the call of Gov. Huckabee: Aug. 1 is Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day. Majority of our friends respected Chick-Fil-A's stand on traditional marriage. According to them, it is their right to express what they believe in and they stand for it. Huby and I prefer KFC or McDonalds when we are hungry but, on this day we showed our support on Chick-Fil-A.I took a picture of my husband with Chick-Fil-A employees and hubby sent them to his "close" friends. Alas! One friend was offended because according to her, she had gay friends. I too had gay friends in fact, most of my close friends are gay but, they are intelligent enough to understand that the "gay issue" in connection with Chick-Fil-A's belief on marriage was POLITICALLY MOTIVATED! Come on now, Chick-Fil-A did not condemn gay people who visit in their restaurant.Look at the long lines of customers showing support. They are not here mainly to eat, they are here to support the freedom of speech. I respect and love all my gay friends and I don't judge them for who they are. When they know that I support Chick-Fil-A, they are not offended. This is a matter of RESPECT. Do not listen to a politically motivated issue. Know the facts.I hope everyone will be happy and respect one another. Enjoy your day everyone.

Filing A Bankruptcy

There are two families that I knew who filed bankruptcy and their lives are so much better now compared before. They maxed out their credit cards and missed paying their mortgage. There is no way out but to file a bankruptcy. Bankruptcy is their only option and since they are honest debtor, they filed bankruptcy to make a fresh start in life by relieving most of their debts.

Bankruptcy is designed in favor of the debtors to repay creditors in an orderly manner, reorganize their debts and establish a plan so that they can repay them. An honest debtor files a statement about their assets, income, liabilities as well as the information of all the creditors stating how much they are owed.

Anyway, if you file a bankruptcy, creditors cannot bring a lawsuit against you or even make wage garnishments. If you do not like debt collectors because they are rude and they demand your payments, they can't do it anymore once you file a bankruptcy.

In most cases, if there is no money left from the debtors to pay the creditors, the debtor can be granted a discharge of most debts without objection therefore; a debtor will no longer be liable for repaying the debts.

When you need a legal representation regarding your debts, find a bankruptcy attorney in your area. I am sure you can find a debt relief solution and if you live in Nebraska, Skrupa Law is there to guide you in filing bankruptcy in nebraska. Litigation in the bankruptcy court is conducted like the civil case which will be handled in the district court. There will be a pretrial proceedings, settlement efforts and a trial so; you might need a bankruptcy attorney.

The Language of Flowers

I saw this poem in one of the magazines that I subscribed and do not know the author. It's nice to share it to all of you. We all love flowers don't we?THE LANGUAGE OF FLOWERS

In Eastern lands they talk in flow'rs
And they tell in a garland their loves and cares;
Each blossom that blooms in their garden bowr's,
On its leaves a mystic language bears.

The rose is a sign of joy and love,
Young blushing love in its earliest dawn,
And the mildness that suits the gentle dove,
From the myrtle's snowy flow'rs is drawn.

Innocence gleams in the lily's bell,
Pure as the heart in its native heaven.
Fame's bright star and glory's swell
By the glossy leaf of the bay are given.

The silent, soft and humble heart,
In the violet's hidden sweetness breathes,
And the tender soul that cannot part,
In a twine of evergreen fondly wreathes.

The cypress that daily shades the grave,
Is sorrow that moans her bitter lot,
And faith that a thousand ills can brave,
Speaks in thy blue leaves "forget-me-not".

Then gather a wreath from the garden bowers,
And tell the wish of thy heart in flowers.

Chick-Fil-A Visit

Chick-fil-A and Dan Cathy became a household name in the US for the past weeks. I am not a fan of Chick-Fil-A and I do not know Dan Cathy. But, when some politician started bashing on this good business for making a stand on "traditional family", hubby and I made our decision to visit Chick-Fil-A and support them for having the courage to stand for "traditional marriage". If that is their stand, let us respect them.

I have so many gay friends and I love them dearly. I wanted them to be happy too and I respect their choices. As long as they love each other and live in harmony with everyone, I am happy for who they are. They raised good children and they are good parents to their children and I admire them for that.
I just don't understand why some politicians had to jump into conclusion that Chick-Fil-A's stand on " traditional marriage" is hating gay's rights.

Here is Chick-Fil- A's Response to Recent Controversy:

Chick-fil-A is a family-owned and family-led company serving the communities in which it operates. From the day Truett Cathy started the company, he began applying biblically-based principles to managing his business.

The Chick-fil-A culture and service tradition in our restaurants is to treat every person with honor, dignity and respect –regardless of their belief, race, creed, sexual orientation or gender. We will continue this tradition in the over 1,600 Restaurants run by independent Owner/Operators. Going forward, our intent is to leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena.

Our mission is simple: to serve great food, provide genuine hospitality and have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.

Scion FR-S

Are you fascinated in driving a sports car? If you are familiar with Toyota's Sports 800, 2000 GT and Corolla GTS then, you know the performance of these fast cars. The first production of sports car by Toyota was in 1965 and it was Toyota Sports 800. The engine was sufficient to power at 70 km/h or 45 mph around town but, on a race track it was up to 160 km/h or 100 mph. It was a very popular sports car in the 60's. Then, the next generation of sports car the 2000 GT in 1967 which is said to be capable of reaching 217 km/h or 135 mph. After that, the Corolla GTS with 112 horsepower (84 kW) @ 6600 rpm, Torque is 97 ft lbf (132 N·m) @ 4800 rpm and now, it is getting better with Scion FR-S which has 200 hp and 151 LBs Torque.

I just love the Firestorm color of this all new Scion FR-S which was out in June 2012. Check out the info graphic below and see how it evolved from the older Toyota models. I am not a fan of sports car but, the color and the sleek design truly is a remarkable! Now, I want to drive this baby too!

Gabby Douglas: Hair Bashing, Seriously?

She was just amazing! She made a record on Olympic Games 2012 being the first African-American and first woman of color in Olympic History to become an individual all-around champion. Gabrielle Douglas became the first American gymnast to win gold in both categories: Individual All-Around and Team Competitions in the same Olympics and take note, she's only 16 years old.I was so proud of her performance and she is just one petit lady with incredible athlete prowess. As I was watching the game, I was also busy with my Facebook chat and reading Twitter updates. Here comes the bashing of Gabby's hair from the "few" African-American who probably never accomplish anything in their lives. Seriously? The girl has just won an Olympic GOLD medal for crying out loud! I just admire her contagious smile; she's so confident in all her execution, amazingly poised and though her hair might not be perfect for "few" African-American so what? She made USA proud with her elegant performance in London Olympics. At 16, she accomplished more than most of us did! Enough with hair bashing, cheer and be proud of Gabby instead.

Liberty Ross : Kristen Stewart's Cheating Scandal

"Not so pretty, not so pure after all" these are words by Liberty Ross, 33, fashion model turned actress and mother of two. I do not know her until today when I was reading the cheating scandal between her husband Rupert Sanders (director of The Snow White and The Huntsman) and Twilight star, Kristen Stewart.

Liberty Ross portrayed as the mother of Kristen Stewart in "The Snow White and the Huntsman" movie. Awkward right? Respect is missing in this scenario don't you think? I just hope that Liberty Ross will find the strength amidst this marital problem.

She is a very positive woman and I hope she will pass all these limelight scandals. She tweeted "Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together." There you go girl!

Busy Wednesday

How are you doing today? I hope you all had a wonderful Wednesday. Are you excited for the weekend? I know for sure that most of you "career-oriented" people looks forward for your day off. I am excited for you too *wink* , two more days right?

Hubby and I just got home from Orlando and I am so tired. I have so many tasks to write but, I don't think I can do it. After dinner awhile ago, I feel like hitting the bed already. We got a call from one of our tenants the other day informing us that there's a water leaked coming from the dishwasher area in the condo. We had to make an appointment from our plumber friend and luckily, he got the time for us and fixed it in two hours.

Then, we had lunch at Olive Garden with our German friend as her belated treat for me for my birthday. We had a wonderful time chit-chatting with what's new in our lives. Then, hubby and I head back home. We went to the grocery and three more errands, wooo ... we did accomplished so many things today. No wonder, I am so exhausted.

Reason Enough by Regine Velasquez

I was posting the blogpost about Oldies Music and and I made mention about the word "reason enough " and the song of Regine Velasquez just popped up in my mind. Oh my goodness, I miss this song. Funny that I can remember the song and forgotten why it was so special back then. Let me think hmmm....

I made myself a promise some time ago
Never again to give my heart away
Fell in love with someone who left me in the end
The price of love was just too high to pay
I thought my life had ended, but you came along
And showed me how much brighter things could be
Now you see I've turned my back
On that promise that I made
Knowing that your love has set me free

REFRAIN:

(`Cause) You are reason enough for me to go on living
You are reason enough for me to smile again
In a world where hearts are broken

Every now and then
One finds reason enough to love
Like I've found reason enough in you to love again
So here I am, all caught up in this new found love
Feeling like I've never felt before
Putting my love on the line with you
And taking a chance again
I'm not afraid to love anymore

(Repeat Refrain)

In a world where hearts are broken
Every now and then
One finds reason enough to love
Like I've found reason enough in you to love again

Nah! I remember so well >o<. I listen to this song over and over when "Babes" left me in exchange to pursue his Dentistry career in the US. We both made the right decision because I am happy with my married life now. I pray that he is successful and happy in his life too. In my case, time heals all wounds!

If you are heart broken, don't despair! It happens for a reason so; live your life. Heartaches will be gone in due time. If you think that your life has ended, look around you. Your family and friends love you dearly. Most of all, love yourself and that is reason enough to keep on living don't you think? Cheer up!

Our Laundry Room

This is our laundry room and I am happy with this space. Of course, I love our huge washer and dryer sitting on its pedestal. I have enough room for the iron board if I needed to iron our wrinkled clothes. I have my area for folding clothes and I have a deep sink if I needed to hand wash some clothes as well.

I do my laundry in the evening while I'm cooking for dinner. I have no complains with my cute laundry room. In fact, while doing the laundry, I can sit on the carpet and chat with my mom using Skype:-) I love love love my laundry space.
