Visiting Hannibal, Missouri : The Place of Mark Twain

If you are a bookworm, you know who Samuel Langhorne Clemens is. He is known by his pen name Mark Twain, the American author and known for his novels: The Adventures of Tom Sawyer in 1876 and the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn in 1885. I have read few pages of these novels when I was in College but, I never had the chance to sit down and finish both books.

Why he is the subject of my blog post today? Next week, we will be going to Missouri and Mark Twain grew up in Hannibal, Missouri. This place is the setting for Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer. My brother-in-law who lives in Missouri suggested that we should visit Hannibal. There are numerous historical places to see in Hannibal and mostly, related to Mark twain and those he mentioned in his novel. I am excited to see where he grew up.
