The Parade at Disney's Hollywood Studios

I went inside Disney's Hollywood Studios alone to meet up my two nieces inside the park. They were waiting in the Rock and Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith area and it's located in the Sunset Boulevard. They rode the roller coaster as it twists, turns and loops in the Tinseltown. Yep! I'm not a fan of fast rides.Miss E loves an adrenalin rush rides and our next stop was the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Dropping 13 stories a lot of times? No way for me too LOL!I can only do "baby rides", LOL.Next stop was the Star Tours, a Star Wars 3D Simulator ride in the Echo Lake area. I rode it with hubby on Valentines Day and it made me sick for two days hahahaha. Miss E loves it! the picture below is Slim in the Bugs Life movie. It was already 4PM and we were stuck in the parade so; I took these pictures.I can't remember the names of these characters. You can ask your kids though because I know for sure, they know their names.A pose from Miss E while we were in the line to Toy Story Midway Mania in Pixar Place area. Today, I will go with them at Magic Kingdom. Come back for more pictures tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by.

Technical Translation Service

Few months ago, I was watching a real courtroom scenario. It was a case about a mother who killed her own daughter. The prosecution wanted to prove that her case is premeditated murder so; they hired an IT technical translator about her Internet searches before the child went missing. It really helped the prosecution because it was able to connect the timeline of what the mother trying to search online and the evidence found in the car. It was a horrible case and the technical translation company plays the big role of providing the technical translation.

If you are looking for skilled professionals who are experienced in technical translation service, you can check out the links in this post. They might be the one who can translate the technical information that you have. Technical issues are delicate matters that only experts and experience individual can sub task the information that's already available. They are the professionals who can unzip the humongous complicated technical issues into simpler and easier translation. Without them, technical issues are hard to understand and we may think it's not important at all. If you need a translation service in the future, make sure they are professional, reliable and expert in the field.

At Hollywood Studios on Valentines Day

February is a busy month for us. Our business is picking up so; we literally forget Feb.14, LOL. On Valentines Day, I had no gift for my husband so; I told him that I will just treat him for lunch. He thought I had a convenient excuse because dining is an activity that we do almost everyday LOL. We went to Olive Garden at Florida Mall (we were there the day before) and since we have no plans for that day, we decided to go to Hollywood Studios. The picture below was taken at the entrance of Hollywood Studios. We bought a Disney World yearly pass last December so; we can go to any theme parks during weekdays in any time we want, so convenient huh? The picture below is the line heading to the Star Tours. We took the easy rides but, the Simulator Ride of STAR WARS made me so dizzy. It seemed I was really engaged in the inter-galactic war zone. I can never ride the Tower of Terror. Then, we stroll down the Hollywood Boulevard. The hat of Mickey Mouse which is located at the heart of Hollywood Studios is the symbol of this themed park.We watch a performance on this stage. We went to Pixar and Toy Story area and when we were tired, we decided to just have the boat ride to Epcot theme park. And we enjoyed viewing the sunset on our 30 minutes boat ride. Then, we took the monorail back to the Magic Kingdom parking lot where we parked our car.

Swimming in Cocoa Beach

I lived in Florida for 4 years now but, I never tried swimming downn the beach. This is Cocoa Beach, noted for many shark attacks. The beach is less than an hour drive from where we live, my husband and I often hang out here.I am totally scared with sharks and that's the reason why I won't go swimming. Shallow reasoning huh? Oh I dont swim in the river too, there are gators lurking in there too, funny but, true. Swimming pool? Oh yeah, that's the safe place to swim.

Be A Responsible Driver

If you own a property, you might as well consider having insurance for peace of mind. When we live in Mississippi, my father-in-law gave us a car but, since we own a van and a trucker, paying three auto insurance would be very expensive. My husband decided to give the car to his brother in Missouri so; as of now, we are happy with our two cars.

Here in the US, it is very risky to drive without insurance. In the event of accidents, you have nothing to worry about damages if you have good liability insurance. It protects you from financial drain and protects the other driver as well. It is not legal to drive without insurance but, some people are crazy to do it anyway. When accidents happen, they are the ones who "hit and run" and that is really irresponsible. Insurance are expensive but, we are obliged to get it if we drive. If you are planning to get insurance, you can check it out online and make a comparison. It boils down to what premiums you can afford and what coverage you really need. Remember; do not take for granted the insurance once you drive. It saves you money and will give you peace of mind. Go ahead and scout for insurance quotes.

Shopping Carts at Aldi

Every day, I saw the shopping carts left on the sidewalks. Some people bring them to their community and abandoned the carts outside their gate. They probably have no cars to transport their groceries. It's not allowed really so; some business establishments used electronic systems so that the shopping carts cannot leave the perimeter of the parking lot. It's working good because I saw a family yesterday with loaded groceries trying to push the cart and it won't move. The cart wheels locked when they pass the magnetic strip. In Aldi, they used the coin-operated locking mechanism using the quarter to encourage the customers to return the carts in the designated area and get their quarter back. 99% of the customers return the carts to save their quarter. It's really incredible huh? This is a good motivation that should be promoted in the US. I heard Europe is doing this so; if it's good for everybody why not follow as well.

Discount Medical and Dental Plan

After I quit my job, I have no health insurance. I have the option to keep it but, without my employers' contribution, I can't afford to pay the high monthly premiums. I was scouting for a new insurance that I can afford to pay but, it's really hard to find one that cater my needs and right on my budget.

My friend suggests about Ameriplan. It is a discount medical and also a discount dental plan, an alternative to insurance. Some people cannot afford insurance but, whether we like it or not, if we are not feeling well, we need to see a doctor. If we do not like to pay the full amount to any health services, we should at least get a discount. Saving 80% on general dentistry for example is truly a huge savings once we have availed the discount dental plan. Dental bills and medical bills can pile up high without insurance so; I think a discount plan is a good alternative than doing nothing at all. Paying a monthly premium for as low as $19.95 for a dental plus family package is a deal breaker. If I cannot find the right insurance for me, I will consider the discount plan for sure.

So Hopeless

Twice a day, my mother and I had a schedule for video chat using either the skype or YM. I know what's going on with my family and the latest news in my city back home. Today, my mother informed me that a Sendong survivor who lives in tent city committed a suicide and I can only speculate why.

My aunt and her family are Sendong survivors too. They went back to their home only last week. They have been living with my mother for almost two months. I don't want them to live in the evacuation center because the situation is stressful. I helped them with their basic needs hoping that their life will be back to normal. Stress is hard to handle and I do not want my aunt and her family to suffer more.
DSWD gave a card to all the Sendong survivors. My aunt got a card but, whatever assistance entitled to them, they got nothing so far because their card has no number and no signature from the officials. My aunt waited for half day just to get the number stamped on their card.
When the DSWD visited to their home yesterday, they told them she is not entitled to receive anything because their house is already in good shape. My aunt was upset!
The city receives millions of assistance all over the world. My aunt got nothing. I provided a new floor mat, new sala set, new curtain and when DSWD saw that, they refused to help them.
I thought about the man who committed a suicide. His situation must be real hard and hopeless. and I can only sigh.

Evergreen Cemetery in Ocean Springs

Every time we visited Mississippi, we always came by to Evergreen Cemetery. When my father-in-law was alive, he loves to buy flowers for his wife and bring it here. The three of us would spent the time pulling the weeds and water the grass in their 4-lot space. When my father-in-law died few days before my birthday, we were in Orlando having a vacation. I celebrated my birthday a week earlier in his bedroom in the care facility. He ate pizza and he was having a good time with us. Before we left to Orlando, I washed his feet because whoever was assigned with him, did not do the right job. He was tickled when I tried to washed his feet with soaps. He always asked me if I was happy living with him in Mississippi. I missed him. My husband missed him a lot. He was sad when we leave for Orlando, he doesn't like us to leave him, afraid that we will not see him alive. We were traveling back to Mississippi when my sister-in-law called us that he's gone. He died on his sleep.

Billy Guice Veterans Memorial Park in Biloxi

Hubby and I had lunch at the Satisfaction Buffet at Hardrock last Friday and as we went back to our hotel, I told him that I should drop by at this memorial park.Billy Guice Veterans Memorial Park is located along Highway 90, Beach Boulevard in Biloxi, Mississippi just beside the Hardrock Hotel and Casino. The names listed on the memorial stones are those men and women in uniform who died during the war from different countries such as: Korea, Vietnam, Japan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Philippines and more.Beside the name, it lists down the date, place and the operation/war they've been and their picture. This memorial park is located in a nice place with the view of the Gulf coast. If you happen to visit Mississippi, check out this place. You will not miss this place if you come out from the garage of Hardrock casino and hotel or passed by the Highway 90.

As We Head Back Home

We arrived in Mississippi around 5 PM. It was actually 6 PM in Orlando. It was still early so, we decided to drive around Ocean Springs and Biloxi. This place is our second home, the hometown of my husband. We love Orlando but, coming here twice a year gives us a happy feeling. We drove down the old house and went to the cemetery to visit the abode of my father-in-law. We missed him a lot. This is the amazing view that we always hang out when we lived here for almost two years. The Gulfcoast view is just an awesome sight! It truly brings back happy thoughts and happy memories!

Great Hotel in Biloxi Mississippi

Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by on my Tuesday Travel entry last week. I am late on my submission this week huh? Anyway, I am trying to catch up! We are here in Mississippi for Mardi Gras celebration and we stayed in the Isle of Biloxi Hotel and Casino. We are staying here for 3-nights and it's FREE! What a good blessing huh? Thanks to @IsleCasinoBX for this wonderful complimentary stay. We are in great gratitude for giving us a wonderful hotel accommodation. That's my husband checking on his business and working online. Here is the area where hubby prepared his morning coffee and off to the left side is the bathroom with a good size bath tub. Opposite to this area is the closet with a safety box where guests can secure their precious gadgets and moolah.I requested two queen size beds with balcony facing the Bay bridge and the Bay of Biloxi. The location of the Isle of Biloxi Hotel and Casino is just perfect if you stay in Biloxi Mississippi. Anything you need is right here and if you want to gamble, their slot machines pays good! Well, it depends upon your luck huh?The room is spacious and WiFi connectivity is everywhere in the property. Anyone can access it so easily. Here is the Isle of Biloxi from the Bay Bridge view. And in here is the view from the room's balcony. That's the Bay of Biloxi and the land mass across is the city of Ocean Springs, Mississippi.

Wood Carving

Hello everyone! Much as I wanted to share every details of my travel, I was just too tired when I saw the bed at night. I woke up early today and thought, I should update my blogs a lil bit. This picture was taken at Mississippi Welcome Center. Isn't it gorgeous? The bird on the tree is a wood carving. Here in Mississippi, they don't uproot the dying tree instead, they hire wood carvers. Some wood carving enthusiasts and talents offer their services and materials for free. If you visit down the Gulfcoast in Biloxi, you will see some of the amazing wood carvings on Highway 90. If you happen to pass by, drop by this place and take a look at it.

Second Career

Content by Sol Rosales:

For four years I had a high-paying, high-pressure job in the corporate world. I worked as a head-hunter, with a high salary and high demand. I was miserable. The stress of the job was a constant strain, and even when I was not working I was thinking about work. After four years, I decided that I could not take the stress of the corporate world. I went back to school with some of the money that I had saved, and I earned a degree in education. I am so happy that I decided to make the switch. Although I am making less than half of what I made in the corporate world, I could not be happier. I have been forced to live on a much tighter budget. I switched to fixed-rate energy from Texas electricity providers know exactly how much I would be spending on my energy bill, and I live on a tight cash budget for food and entertainment. However, these are small sacrifices to make to feel happy and content. I feel like my job has a positive impact on society, and I believe that I am making a difference in society.

Disney Bus

Hubby and I visited Disney World on Valentine's Day only because we had no plans to go for this special day. I told hubby that I will treat him to lunch somewhere and we play it by ears from there. We drove towards Florida Mall and stopped at Olive Garden. After a hearty meal at Olive Garden, we drove to Magic Kingdom and parked our car in the villain area then, we saw the bus which will transport the guests towards Hollywood Studious theme park. This is my first Disney bus ride and it was fun. If you are staying for limited time to see Disney World, you should stay in the hotels and resort nearby Disney or own by Disney. To ride the bus from one theme park to the other takes time. Take the monorail instead. For us, we love the bus ride because we are not rushing to go to the park. Anyway, Disney buses are free for Disney guests and it's cozy inside. We rode the route from Magic Kingdom to Hollywood Studious. If you want a faster transportation, take the monorail.

Mickey and his Cleaning Crew at Hollywood Studious

How was your Valentines day? I bet you got flowers and chocolates? I don't have any ... just yet LOL! Hubby and I had no plans for Valentine's but, since we had a yearly pass at Disney, off to Hollywood Studious. This photo was taken at Disney's Hollywood Studious outside the theme park. I love the cleaning crew of Mickey Mouse. I find them cute. Somehow, this will inspire the kids that cleaning and helping the family in the household chores should be fun.

Nicki Minaj Is Mocking my Religion on her Performance on Grammy's

I have nothing against the talent of Nicki Minaj. I saw her on TV, I heard her name via TMZ news but, I am not familiar of her songs. Probably she is popular ... whatever. No offense to the fans but, there are so many people were offended by her performance during the Grammy Awards last night. The performance was a bit too far. It was so insensitive of her having to perform an "Exorcism inspired" presentation. It was disrespectful to Catholic Religion especially when she bring the Pope imitator as her escort. What a shame! Is the thirst for fame had to be like this? What an awful choice of presentation.

Whitney Houston Has Died at the Age of 48

"I've lived to be the very best
I want it all, no time for less"

Ironic Huh? This has been a shocking news! How did this happen? I was doing my tax return when the breaking news flashed on screen: Whitney Houston has died! I do not want to make any speculation but, as most of us know she had problems. Her publicist, Kristen Foster informed the AP about the incident. Whitney Houston's name and all her songs are trending in Twitter and Facebook.

The Body Guard is one of my favorite movies and that was a big hit earning 480 million. She was a bankable star and "whatever she touched seemed to become gold" as what they say. But, that was history. Her limelight was shut down when she made the wrong choice. My husband told me that nobody cares about her, well I do care. I watched her on TV few days ago and I was happy listening to her songs. She was trying to comeback. Somewhere inside of her was a sad woman and she just have internal struggles that's hard to cope. Now, she is dead. So sad. May she rest in peace.

Each day I live, I want to be
A day to give the best of me
I'm only one, but not alone
My finest day is yet unknown

I broke my heart for every gain
To taste the sweet, I faced the pain
I rise and fall, yet through it all
This much remains

I want one moment in time
When I'm more than I thought I could be
When all of my dreams are a heart beat away
And the answers are all up to me

Give me one moment in time
When I'm racing with destiny
Then in that one moment of time
I will feel, I will feel eternity

I've lived to be the very best
I want it all, no time for less
I've laid the plans, now lay the chance
Here in my hands

Give me one moment in time
When I'm more than I thought I could be
When all of my dreams are a heart beat away
And the answers are all up to me

Give me one moment in time
When I'm racing with destiny
Then in that one moment of time
I will feel, I will feel eternity

You're a winner for a lifetime
If you seize that one moment in time, make it shine

Give me one moment in time
When I'm more than I thought I could be
When all of my dreams are a heart beat away
And the answers are all up to me

Give me one moment in time
When I'm racing with destiny
Then in that one moment of time
I will be, I will be, I will be free, I will be, I will be free

Affliction of a Mom and Wife

Guest post written by Vivian Besas:

I left home for the fourth time on February 7, 2012 after spending a 2-month holiday with my husband and our 4 girls, Ysabel, Yleiza, Ymealle and Ylleine ages 9, 5, 4 and 3 at my parents' house.

As soon as my husband and I together with a friend arrived at the Airport I faltered and felt butterflies in my tummy that sent me crying saying to my husband: "Please don't let me go. I don't want to leave anymore"..But we both knew I needed to so I helplessly took my suitcases with me and checked-in which after I did, went to the exit taking my hand-carry luggage and rushed out straight to the waiting area not bothered about the time which gave me barely 5 minutes till boarding schedule just to kiss and hug my husband goodbye again.

Tears were running down my cheeks from when I entered the airport again until I was seated in the plane. He painfully watched the aircraft with a heart crushed as it took off while I cried incessantly, defeated by the need to go.

It was a very long and agonizing journey as I'm bound for Europe where I work for an English diplomat. During the flight I couldn't stop thinking about my family. If I dose off all I dream of are the girls and my Hubby. I lost the appetite to eat as well that I refused the airline meals. I survived the entire flight with water, coffee and tea one after the other.

I reached Switzerland in an extremely freezing weather of minus 10 degrees centigrade bringing me right there and then winter blues which mercilessly added insult to my injury. It was nonsense as it is impossible but I wished for the snow which covered every roof of every house I saw and everything around to cover me as well and make me numb to ever feel the pain of having to leave my life - MY FAMILY.

It was too impossible to get myself to sleep on the night I was back. Apart from jetlag, I was crazily suffering from homesickness - the worst enemy I believe of people going abroad without their families. I was awake from half past 12 midnight on. Same thing happened the second night

Today, February 10, 2012 I was fumbling through my suitcase which hasn't been touched since I arrived when I found 3 unfamiliar things as they aren't mine:
1. a small blue rosary
2. a yellow-colored smiley eraser
3. a note saying:

"mama I will miss you
ingat diha I love you
I miss you
we love you
we will miss you
from Ysabel, Dagz, Winwin and CS".

I didn't know how to react. But I thought I felt anger. Anger because it hurts! It's Ysabel's and I literally felt her pain too from being left behind. Anger because it filled up that chamber in my heart for keeping my pain in and made me want to scream and cry! I quickly got my phone, navigated to the notepad to write something about what she'd done when a page appeared, caught me completely off-guard and gave me a real painful blow when I read:

"Mama I love you i miss you
Ingat ka diha@"

This time I was sure I was feeling guilty! Guilty for letting her undergo this kind of pain! My mother worked away from home when I was young and is back home only on weekends. But the pain of not being with her over the weeks sent me crying almost every night. How intense is Ysabel's pain then seeing me only for a month twice in a year! Awful lot of pain!

I can no longer allow our pain to go on. My husband feels incomplete, I do too! I'm going home for good before I ruin my children's emotional stability and live my life in regrets. And besides, there's no other place better than home.

Free Philippine Trip from my Airline Miles

One good reason to travel a lot is getting back the miles you've got. My favorite airline company informed me that I can travel to Europe for free, back and forth. They also sent me the magazine with the list of products which my miles are eligible for rewards. Aside from the flight to Europe, I was checking the Philippine flight, Boy, I still can have it for free anytime. My husband wanted to travel with me so, I told him, we will gonna build up my miles so, I can get his air travel for free too. The idea is to build it fast through cruising. I have good deals for cruising did you know that?I wanted to go back to Nassau and visit the churches in this island. So far, I saw two Catholic Churches but, we did not stop. Hoping to visit the Island of Nassau Bahamas again soon. I think my miles are good for travel rewards than choosing these products for free: Victorinox Swiss Army Watch, Mont Blanc pen, 3 original RayBan sunglasses, Samsung Galaxy Tab 32 GB, 2 iPod Touch 32GB, Toshiba Laptop, and more. These will only add up to $500 max. To get a Philippine trip would cost me $1200 max right? So, I will use my miles for Philippine Trips!

Exciting Activities for Children and Parents at Museo Pambata

Oh boy! My nephew is so funny in this picture, just like a scarecrow! My brother and his family together with my mother went to Manila via Cebu Pacific Airline for a short vacation. I booked their hotel stay at Bayview Park Hotel Manila for 5 days and they were having a grand time. These pictures were taken at the Museo Pambata in Metro manila. This museum has 7 theme areas namely: My Body Works, Career Options, Marketplace, Environment, Children in the Global Village, Old Manila, and My Planet Earth. The picture below has a rice planting background, a journey showing the Filipino culture. Showcasing the children's "Career Option"...... a miniature jeepney which is a popular transportation in the Philippines.Bahay Kubo or Nipa hut... I was here 18 years ago and I enjoyed it when I chaperoned my niece in their Educational tour. The hands-on activities stimulates learning and helps the children understand the past, present and future of the world around them.

Awesome View From Our Room at the Beau Rivage Hotel

This is part of the city of Biloxi in Mississippi. One of the buildings that you saw here is my workplace for 18 months. There are 8 world class casinos in Biloxi namely: Grand, Hard Rock, IP, Isle, Boomtown, Palace, Treasure Bay, and Beau Rivage.Looking down on the beautiful view of the city from our room at the Beau Rivage Hotel. Our room is located on the 23rd floor, it's huge and has the best bathroom. I like the view and the room is PERFECT but, I do not like the location of our room. It was inconvenient to walk from the garage to the hotel. The worst part is from the elevator (at the middle), we had to walk all the way to our room located at the end plus NO WIFI.We need an Internet Connection so, on the third day, we transferred to another casino/hotel. On this day, it was foggy and it's about 6AM and the sunrise was hidden behind the thick clouds. The pool area was FANTASTIC...world class ambiance facing the Gulf.I love the breakfast buffet in BeauRivage full of delicious foodies and so affordable! I took this picture on mobile, the Beau Rivage Hotel and Casino.Okay, this is the look of our bedroom, pretty awesome huh? Oh, their bathroom is crazy perfect and huge! The only set back, no WiFi on our floor and the distance from the elevator to our room is longgggggggggggggggg. Done!
