Deep Sea Fishing at Cape Canaveral

26 minutes more or less from our place is Cape Canaveral. This place is also known as Cape Kennedy in the 60's and early 70's. It is part of the Space Coast, and the home of Cape Canaveral Air Force Station as well as the Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal.

Yesterday, while hubby and I went to Rusty's for a sumptuous lunch, the fishing fleets arrived to the boat dock from their whole day deep fishing activities. There were three boats and when they unload, we were curious. We finished up with our meal and went to the boat dock area.

I saw baby sharks displayed  below that sign. Those sharks and fishes were caught by the passengers/guests. According to one of the passengers, her son joined the contest by putting their biggest caught on the container, and adding some money (donation).  Whoever has the biggest caught, he/she wins the money. All those baby sharks look the same size to me. Awww... they were just babies.

Anyway, if you love to experience this type of activity, here is the link : orlandoprincess.com

Hubby and I are planning to try this activity. I think this is a fun adventure but, I only want to catch the fish that I can eat. Not the shark.

According to the passenger/guest, they were 3 and paid $60 per person. She said it was worth it because the services on board are the following:

- Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner (depending of selected trip)
- Unlimited Beer and Soda
- Rod & Reel
- Bait & Tackle
- Fishing License
- Parking

They were well fed she said. Interesting!
