When I was growing up, my brother and I were not exposed on traveling outside the city except summer time where I spent my whole vacation in the province. I like spending time with my cousins especially when we go swimming in the nearby waterfalls. Picking wild fruits in the forest was pretty exciting for me.On school days, I can't really remember that I attended an educational tour. I only started traveling when I was in college and I learn a lot from it. I believe that acquiring knowledge is not limited in the four corners in the classroom.Last Valentines Day, I treat my brother and his family for a trip to Manila for 5 days. I shouldered the plane ticket, food, entrance fee to some parks and museum, hotel stay and gave my mom some pocket money. All 6 of them deserve to have a bonding vacation. The pictures here were taken at Museo Pambata in Manila, Philippines.My brother made it sure that their itinerary was focused for the kids. It was an educational tour for the kids because they went to the museums, Manila Zoo, and travelled to some of the major attractions in the Manila. Well, the adults enjoyed their vacation too.

Joshua Ledet is out! Jessica Sanchez made it to the finale! It is now between her and Phillip Phillips. Jessica Sanchez was born in Chula Vista, California and I know in my heart, she got the support from this place. Her parents Gilbert and Editha Sanchez must be proud of her.

Her father, a Mexican American originally from Texas, is a U.S. Navy veteran who fought in the Iraq War and served in Afghanistan. Jessica Sanchez visited the US Navy in her hometown and by looking at that crowd, I know they voted for Jessica Sanchez. No wonder she made it!

Her mother is a Filipino American from Bataan province in the Philippines. And, all of us Filipinos are united to help Jessica Sanchez realize her dreams. Did you know that Jessica Sanchez was selected for full scholarship training at the Theater of arts in Hollywood? She is currently a home schooled high school student in 11th grade. Education is very important for this angel.

Mon Tulfo versus Raymart and Claudine

I was reading the opinions of people debating about who is at fault between the celebrity couple Raymart and Claudine or the newspaper columnist Mon Tulfo.

When I heard Mon Tulfo's version, I was thinking, why did he intervene in the first place? The couple was already upset because their luggage was not on the plane with them. One should stop and think twice but, he acted like a paparazzi. Knowing or not knowing that they are celebrities, he probably thought that he can download and use the still photos on the Internet and create a headline on the news. Instead, he became the headline with all those black eyed punches he got. An incident like this will eventually happen when you (have nothing to do to help) intervenes a very delicate situation like that.

Taking pictures and videos of people without their consent is a NO! NO! So; I can understand that Raymart will be mad and would go after the camera of Mr.Tulfo.

I do not like Claudine as an actress (goes back with Rico Yan time). She may have a bad attitude with endless cursing machine mouth but, as a passenger who waited in the baggage section then, later found out that their luggage was left behind, she has the right to get upset

I would do the same too. It happen to my luggage once though, I did not curse and I maintain my breeding.

Getting upset is a normal reaction! She is no angel and she is a brat! So what? That is who she is but, what makes it worst? When a brat was approached by a stranger who was trying to capture a picture in her most unpleasant mood.

Result? Chaos! Who is at fault? Let the court handles the judgement! This is not over till it is over. PEACE!

The Town of Christmas

I got a free one year subscription from a magazine and I decided to send the form directly to the post office. We were traveling from Cocoa to Orlando and since we pass by Christmas, a town in Florida, we decided to just mail the form there. Oh, the town of Christmas is really Christmassy in fact, along the road, you can see Christmas trees in full Christmas decor with a manger. Unconditional Love from Pet Dogs

I am always scared of dogs because when I was in my elementary days, a big dog just attack me and I got bit in my middle torso. It was a huge dog and I was on my knees trying to cover my face and someone saw me struggling and shoo the dog away.

I was crying helplessly and my mom came in rescue. Back home (during those times), pet animals are really watchdogs. It scared burglars away especially when there is a sign of "beware of dogs". Fierce dogs are put on leash and the dog that bit me got away from the leash with the knowledge of the owner. I was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

I am not over it and it's been years. I am very cautious with pet animals and in the house, we do not have any. I do not hate dogs and I think they are cute but, I am always careful when I am around them.

With that being said, most of our friends have pet dogs and I am fond of them too. I like Ernie which is a black dachshund puppy, Happy is a brown poodle, Rocko is a Yorkshire Terrier and Rusty is a labrador which is the only huge dog that I am comfortable playing with.

All of them except Rusty are well taken care of. In fact, their pets are considered as family and the owners are really pet parents. How about you? Do you have pets?
