Number 8 is considered as a lucky number in Chinese simply because it sounds like the word with a meaning of wealth. I just read it in one of the articles online that in Hong Kong, when you choose to have a number plate with the number 8, it is sold higher. And also, remember the Summer Olympics in Beijing? The ceremony started at 8 seconds and 8 minutes past 8 pm (local time) on 8 August 2008. That is really interesting, don't you think? As for a tradition in the Philippines, when someone wanted to move to a new house, as much as possible they do it on the 8th, 18th and 28th of the month. In fact, I moved in to my home on August 8th. This belief is also true when couples choose a wedding date.In the study of numerology, 8 in general context gives positive energy. In Astrology, number 8 is ruled by the planet Saturn and Scorpio is the zodiac sign. Actually, this is my favorite number because this is the day when I was born. Am I always lucky? I don't feel that way all the time. Life has it's ups and down, like a wheel. We feel the 8th of our lives when we are happy but, if we are not, don't ever think that numbers have something to do with it.Mao nia akong entry karon adlawa. Hinaut wala mo natulog samtang nag basa hehehe. Seryoso si tiyay karon kay hapit na akoang adlaw nga natawhan. Salamat sa laag ha.
