The first time I saw love bug, I thought that this insect looks so cute:-). Imagine partners can't resist each other so they make love most of the time that's why they are called Love bugs. Don't trust your eyes though because love bug is a member of the family called march flies. Sometimes they are called "kissing bug" or "honeymoon fly". This insect is common in the Gulf Coast, Georgia, South/North Carolina and here in Florida. During and after mating, the adult pairs remain coupled, amazingly even in flight for up to several days. .During this time, love bug flights are in thousands that is why, cars like ours traveling inside the city or to another town would look so badly. This so called invasion is obvious in the months of April-May, August-September and December. According to the study, the lifespan of female love bug is 3-4days while the male is longer. The love bugs can exist in thousands near highways and they die on automobile windshields, hoods, and radiator grills when the vehicles travel at high speeds. Look at the pictures on this post. If left for more than an hour the remains of love bugs become extremely difficult to remove. Their body chemistry is acidic so, if left on the car for a day, it can result in pits and etches in automotive paint and chrome. Make sure to visit the car wash if you have these problems on your car.Mao nia akong tampo para sa Hulagway sa Kinabuhi karong semanaha mahitungod sa Insekto nga makapungot. When people talk about pets and furry friends, I was so detached. Not that
I don't like pets. Don't get me wrong but the reality was, I just cant
relate. ...
